Born in the flames of the Revolution of Dignity, Hromadske has been setting the bar very high for Ukrainian journalism for over ten years and is also included in the list of Ukraine's white media. Therefore, working with Hromadske is a great responsibility, as this media outlet is read all over the world
For this project, we worked comprehensively not only on the design and development of the web platform, but also on a large-scale migration of content. It was important to transfer all the information from the project page to a full-fledged English-language website, preserving the structure, content, and SEO indicators. We implemented automatic redirects so that no material would be lost and users could seamlessly transition to the new version of the resource.
We also updated the admin panel, making it more convenient and flexible for the editorial team, and optimized the website's loading speed — from the server side to the front end. This improved the platform's performance and stability even under high loads.😜
For Hromadske, we completely rethought the UX component: we updated the interaction logic, page structure, and navigation. Additionally, we developed a dark theme for the site, which increases the comfort of content consumption and meets modern digital standards.
We also created a broad system of content modules — flexible blocks that allow informational materials, special projects, or advertising integrations to be adapted to different formats and tasks. This gives the editorial team a tool for quickly customizing pages without involving developers and ensures the platform's scalability in the future. 🙌
