The National House of Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine is a leading concert venue in Kyiv with a unique acoustic space. Every week, concerts by the greatest musicians of their time are held there. And in order to present themselves appropriately in this space, they turned to us to develop their identity and website.
🎨When working on the visuals, we decided to start from the client's main activity — classical music concerts. It was important for us to convey the sense of structure, rhythm, and discipline inherent in academic art.
That is why the visuals are dominated by clear lines, a consistent color scheme, and contrast. We built the system on the principles of compositional harmony: meaningful blocks, a well-thought-out hierarchy, and a balance of "silence" and accents. The design does not compete with the music — it creates a worthy stage for it. To strengthen the branding and give it a unique voice, we brought in type designer Kirill Tkachov. He created a distinctive logo and unique font specifically for this project, which became the basis for the entire identity.
The combination of the custom font and logo allowed us to build a flexible system of sub-brands — localized directions and event formats that share a common DNA but have their own intonation. As a result, the identity became not static, but scalable, easily adaptable to different concert series or special projects 🎼
💻 When developing the website, we focused on the best practices of the music market: we analyzed international platforms, the structure of event presentation, ticket purchasing scenarios, and user behavior. The key element was the concert poster module: dynamic, convenient, and functional. We implemented an advanced filtering system by genre, date, location, and time of the event. This allows users to quickly find the concert that suits their interests and schedule.
In addition, we ensured the flexibility of the administrative part, so the team can easily add new events, edit information, and manage the poster structure without complex technical processes.
