UVS Volunteer Platform

The Ukrainian Volunteer Service is an online portal that collects volunteer opportunities from all over Ukraine: here you can find any opportunity to do good, develop, and change the world, and non-profit organizations can find reliable volunteers to work with. 🫶

💻 Our task was to create not just a website, but a complex digital infrastructure for the entire ecosystem. The platform had to be scalable, flexible, secure, and capable of handling a large number of users and data.

One of the key technical challenges was the page builder. Due to the complex design composition, standard builders could not provide the necessary flexibility. That is why we developed a custom builder — a tool that allows the team to independently create pages of any complexity without restrictions on the structure and logic of content delivery. This solution became the foundation of the platform's flexibility. 🙌

👀 We built a branched system of modules that includes: user modules, organization modules, volunteer modules, personal achievements module, certification module, news module, and other functional blocks.This architecture allows the platform to grow and adapt to new tasks without a complete system restart. Separately, we have created a universal form builder. It allows you to generate registration forms of varying complexity: from simple questionnaires to multi-level applications, and connect them to specific events, programs, or projects. This greatly simplifies the launch of new initiatives.

🔧 To support the organization, we have developed a donation module with flexible contribution scenarios. We have also implemented a calendar module with a powerful analytical tool: the system allows you to create a register of participants with the ability to filter deeply by various parameters. This is an important tool for coordinating large volunteer programs.

🫡 And since the platform works with personal data and a large number of users, we paid special attention to security. The site is reliably protected from outside interference and meets modern standards of digital stability.
